ezra's art




we had a painting day yesterday.  i love seeing his development through the pictures he makes.  these were done independently.  all without formal instruction, he is gaining skills in composition and color usage that impress me.  i love ezra's art work.

he made this one a while back and after i looked at it and said, "wow!" he said, "that's me when i'm an old man."  i can't remember if i already put it here in this space, but i love this space for saving things like this.

    I love the colours of that first painting. I remember how exciting it was when each of the boys' paintings became more than just swipes of paint. It's almost like their growth and development is reflected in their art work.
